hey, i'm working on a new portfolio site and would love to hear any feedback on how its coming together...
http://www.seanklassen.com/mt-st…
my first attempt at a tableless design, so i'm sure there could be some bugs and what not...
- piperboytoy0
nice work, was the tableless css hard to do?

ooooh..hark at you....CSS...XHTML....Moveable Type...aren't you smart...eh...eh
ZING!
- sklassen0
thanks piperboy...
it was actually really easy to do. i just haven't been confident about how it would display in different browsers. and yeah, i'm trying out the movable type thing too and wasn't sure how that would effect things... so far so good though.

very nice...the visited link color is a bit light...i am on an old g3 powerbook though so maybe my screen is just dim...
a custom bullet point might be nice...maybe as an icon to denote the project type rather than including it in the title so you don't have to cut off longer project titles...it's just the one right now but if you had something long to add in the future

i like the bullet idea. thanks!

nice!
my only complaint is having to scroll on the default page. you might rework your banner a little so it's not so huge.

if you want to check browsers,
use browsercam.com

still very nice work indeed.
CSS you measure with pixels. Can you build it with dreamweaver? I usually use BBEDIT.
Also did you just use the movabletype template?

Great site!
but that image doesnt do it for me. Its a personal thing getting poked in the eye with those at teh slayer concert.
- sklassen0
haha. yeah, that's kind of just a placeholder image. it'll be changing with the blog entries anyway. thanks for the feedback though!
you can write css in dreamweaver, bbedit, and a ton of other programs... which ever you like best. i just used text edit for the most part.
i grabbed the bits of code i needed out of the movable type templates and put them in my pages where i wanted them and then uploaded those as new template pages.

Well this time of year its absolutely gorgeous. The sun is out, the flowers are in full bloom, the girls are in fuller bloom and the biking has been fantastic.
You should consider it, its an outdoor paradise.

That sounds really nice right now. Its gray, cold and snowy right now in Boulder.
One of these days...
