I have alot of experience with soundforge and acid. At work we only have Soundtrack and garage band and they seem much more difficult and limited. It is near impossible to import audio into either without converting them to apples proprietary format.
Sound forge supprts almost all formats.
Do I just not know how to use thes apps or should I just give up.
Does anyone else have good experiences with audio on a mac? What do you use?

they both import wav, aiff, mp3, gb will import acid loops. they're both "prosumer" apps though, not serious professional tools.
i think soundforge's equivalent on a mac would be Peak. for multi track, try Live, Logic, or ProTools LE
