i'm trying to decide where to go on august, and the idea of south east asia is banging inside my head...
thailand, cambodia, bali... people, there are too many options!
anybody has suggestions/mustsee's ?
anybody been there/done that/got the t-shirt?

that scene is played out, especially Bali. Rather go to Antarctica. Its warm

it's true, Bali is played out. If you want something off the beaten path, try Malaysia (the North Borneo part). Not as touristy, just as beautiful.

how's the situation there now? i thought it was ment to be a bit dodgy, cos all that indian/pakistan fight for it.

why south east? Go to Japan, it's not as expensive as you think and they have everything from south east asia there

yeah well there's a high chance you'll get kidnapped by the mujahid's. But they don't decapitate so much over there. Sell you for ransom maybe.
I'm gonna take one of my white boy mates over to Srinigar. I've got a bet with my brother that I can get him kidnapped. The situation has thawed, so i dunno if i'll be able to.
