But I dont have the money or the resources to get the money soon,
Tricky question, I want to create an application with the demo version and letting the users know that it is created with a demo version, that if they like the sofware the can pitch in to buy the program and they would get a application once I buy the full program.
Is that legal? Would you participate in such deal?

oh no no no,
I create an app with a demo version of the sofware that will help me to create that application.
Then, once there is enough money in the piggy bank, I would release a version created without the demo version.
The actual software wouldnt be for distribution. Just a way to get money to buy the sofware.
