yeah GP, that's how it was in the comics.
i'm not sure if it will be hobgoblin. hobgoblin was a different person altogether. there were four actually, most of them stupid. it was like some thug that walked into a factory where all the green goblin stuff was hidden. one was harry's therapist who learned everything about the suit.
harry as green goblin was pretty weak and became good after awhile. that's what i think will happen in the movie after the first hour.
there was actually a demogoblin that was a demon and was really powerful, too.

I remember some of that stuff. Yes, Harry is a weak character.
Spiderman was never one of my favourite comics, and casting Kirstin Dunst and Toby Maguire made everything worse, even though they seem perfect for the roles. I really dislike Mary Jane. She screams every 5 minutes. Like all of the other women in that film!
Now Christian Bale as Batman.....yummy!!!

if you goto your local comic book shop, the current story line in the ULTIMATE SPIDERMAN is Hobgoblin Origin. since its the Ultimate universe, origins have been slightly cchanged to fit with today's lifestyle. you will see that harry may become hobgoblin, but in the other spiderman titles harry is the green goblin. he takes the serum that his father took and gets real strong. hob goblin is justt a guy in a mask with green goblin technology...

i wish they had gwen stacy instead of mary jane playing her role and die when she falls off the bridge like the comic book. most people would've been like "wtf? who's she? where's mary jane?" and i'll be like "haha, i know who she is" along with most of the comic book nerds in the audience.
of course i wouldn't have been such a good love story in the second movie, adding to the action, making it a really awesome movie.

beast and gambit would be cool. i don't get making angel a woman though. there are plenty of womna characters they could have introduced if they wanted to.

I think they do need to introduce random characters even if but a minute. Like have the Sentinels destroy something early on in the first movie and have PP blow them up with the help of Harry Osborne.
