Client log in; project tracking etc. everything you'll need to keep updated and productive. Plus its the cheaper of the services out there.

microsoft outlook has some great task tracking features, log hours, start time, end time, create timelines...lots of features...i use it and it's really help me to organize myself.

we use Kronos for time tracking, I wouldn't reccomend it. It requires it's own server and isn't cheap.

basecamp? i avoid that thing like the black plague. just one more hoop to jump through during my day.....basecamp is being enforced here and i refuse. simple conversation among co-workers, a clock and ical is all you need.

i've been loking into tis too
there's another thread that lists some options (search for invoicing).
I'm trying out StudioBoss and iBiz. Both track jobs, invoice, etc. but unfortunately, both kinda blow too. There seems to be a lack of good apps out there for this type of thing.
I'm thinking of just getting Qucik Books Pro
StudioBoss:

I been using Iwork for over a year now, and it is THE BEST thing ever, send invoices, track hours, organice client files, it syncs up with ical and adress book. I was using quickbooks pro before that, on PC and on mac and I never really liked it.
I work has now changed its name to Ibiz, I really recommend this, over any other software for mac or pc.

basecamp is great but it is definitely not for time tracking on jobs. Maybe some day they will build that in but for now stay away from basecamp for that purpose
