colonialism?
what the hell are you on about.
So by owning 23 domains you rule part of the world or internet?
It's capitalism pal. Buying nothing for something.

who pissed in your cornflakes this morning josimarx?
didn't know you where that sensitive about domain name registrations.
:)
anyways, colonialism = capitalism as well so what's your point?
- josimarX0
yes, i got up a bit too early.
This thread is way bent tho.
- josimarX0
ps you like piss in your cornflakes cos you're like that.
- rabattski0
it's just that this thread is not that interesting imho.
and in a way you can compare it to "colonialism" or digging for gold.
i mean, some domain sales generated more money than the sale of new york by the dutch.
it's a business though:
http://www.greatdomains.com/but somehow it also reminds me of comparing how big one's dick is.
and all i thought was that the coolness of owning a zillion domains also died along with the burst of the dot com bubble.
apparantely not.
then again it's not that important anyways.

cornflakes camouflages piss since it's yellowish as well.
- josimarX0
that's why you like it.
- josimarX0

maybe is cornflakes yellow because there's already pissed processed in it? like they say it's "the corn" but are they telling the truth?
add .com at the end and you'll have a cool domain name.

do people actually collect domains..?
I just have that many cause I need them, for differerent projects/bands and so on.. plus I have a reseller account
- rabattski0
i remember collecting domain names being a hype for a while. as said before that was during the dot com bubble. people were anxious missing out on something combined with the fact that some domain names were sold for ridiculous prices. the notorious bandwagon. and as said before it's still a business.
i think they should use the same approach for domains as they do with brand registration in europe. if you register a name but it's inactive for a certain period of time the registration is not valid anymore and it's free for grabs.
have you ever contacted someone private interested in acquiring a domain name which is not active but has been registered by that person for a long time? i did. couple of times. they still think the dot com hype's alive.
- rabattski0
correction "if you register a name but it's inactive for a certain period of time" should be if it's never used from scratch.
