canadians working abroad

are there any canadians here working abroad? i've a got a question about taxes when you come back to canada? is it true you have to stay out of the country for atleast 2 years or else they'll double tax you?

I used to work in London on a WHV,
made approx. 45K CDN/year and never claimed any of it. I was there on and off for 2 years, coming home once for 4 months - in which time I worked.
So in both years I was still able to file a CDN tax return which just reported that I made little money - under 8K
Just fly under the radar if you can. BS if you have to pay taxes in Canada when you are not: paying into your pension or using any Canadian services for those two years...
