  I'm trying to export an indesign doc (OSX) as a pdf and the illustrator cs eps's in the doc aren't exporting, just showing up as x boxes, now and again Indesign shuts down with no warning - anyone got any idea what the problem is? it's driving me nuts...

  try turning off font embedding when saving the Illy EPS. This has caused me a few problems in the past.

  If that don't work try exporting as a legacy EPS, Illy 10 should be fine.

  you might need an eps plug in or just try to replace the eps's by tif or jpg...
