//By any chance were you in El Segundo?
What's the big deal? Can't you just make a request for new a license and Visa paper?
- Spix0
no, and I dont wear rollerblades and dungerees either...I guess the big deal is that it will take ca 3 months to get the the new visa, and until I get that I can not get a new DL...

wait, why do you need to go to INS to get drivers license? if you already have it (or had it before), dmv should have the file and will send you a new one in like 2 weeks.
in the mean time, you can get a temporary permit to drive.
- Spix0
I dont go to INS tog et it, but DMV reqiers that I have all my documents...including my working permit...that might be diffrent from state to state, but here it is the sad reality.

I feel for you, losing your wallet is one of the worst feeling ever, I have been unlucky twice, and that made me actually go and make photocopies of everything (health card, drivers licence, SIN card etc) and if i ever lost it again apparently they can get you your stuff back much quicker.. Not that this advice is gonna help you now!...
- Spix0
thanks Alex: yeah i wish that i had made copies of some things instead of having them with me...a wise move...I'll do that next time.
- AlexLH0
Your welcome, hope that will help you if it ever happens again, also aother thing, thinking about it, I have my sIN card in my wallet right now, but really why do i need to carry it around with me? From now on i'm only carrying essentials.
- Spix0
true, I had my social secuity card with me because I was to lazy to remember the number...stupied..I should of put down some effort to learn it..well well...I learn as I go. I hope.
