Forgive me MTB for I have sinned.
Saturday I was walking through Urban Outfitters to get to the Apple store. I swear I hate the place and was just cutting through because it's easier than going all the way round all the other shops.
When I got near the exit, out of the corner of my eye, I saw shoes. Specifically I saw KangaROOS, and the style I used to wear when I was 12...with the velcro pouch on the side a la:
Only not the saturday night fever specials that those are - just plain grey.
And I had to have them.
And then I saw some old school asics...and I had to have those too.
And now I feel dirty...but I have nice kicks...

those are cool, i especially like old school asics, saw many of special edition ones in japan recently, i wanted to buy them but was lazy and wasn't sure if they'll fit in my luggage... but now, i really want it and thinking about getting it online.
live it up, man! it's okay to be happy buying new shoes. at least you aren't dropping $300 for prada shoes :p

I hate urban outfitters, too. but i don't think it's a violation of any kind of impossibly austere hipster code to buy things there that you could've gotten anywhere.
go see national treasure, strangely enough, its like an urban outfitters commercial.
