I was also only asking because I think it's a brilliant development. The architecture and design is top notch and it's brought a slummy area of London into the 2000's

in kuz's absence, i'll do my best to respond based on the fuzzy memories i have of our discussion last night:
we were talking about canary wharf because both moth and kuz work there. this, i believe, got us on to the subject of planned communities and the creepiness of canary wharf as a sort of sterile, robotic dystopia.
then we got onto the subject of urban space and poverty, etc. as you do. so kuz posted that for me to read this guy's work this morning.
i think that's how it went, anyway.
