instead of 'black' and pink, have you tried pink and a darker pink?
- mogwai0
hmmm.
- mogwai0
is this for a band or something?
- save0
it looks nice, but looks copied from something I've seen before...
- jevad0
everything is copied...nothing is original...everything has been seen before...somewhere...by somebody

If its for an electro record label then its good.

Needs more work I think.
Looks a little too stylised, think you've lost the legiblity a bit in the two colour combos. The black one right hand side in the middle has the most legs, but in all fairness I think you need to rework the idea.
Almost but not quite.
Would be good to see what else you come up with?

its a music marketing company, they wanted something that would appeal to youth, the whole non corporate bag.
i did other colors but they picked the pink so please dont make fun of it :)

reminds me of vh1 but i think it passes thw bw test in both examples
- usrper0
vh1..
hm then i guess it sucks haha
- cloned0
if i would've said that it wouldve been rude. but since you did...
seriously though, the lettering is really thin. it doesn't make me think the label has been operating or will continue to do so.
as a music marketing company i don't think i would like whatever they represent musically

VH1 is the shit

doesn't say "urban" to me..
looks too light/styled..
i dunno.. it would look nice for a brand of ladies shoes but not for urban grooves..
i'm sorry..
- usrper0
hm... too stylised meaning the form and color seem to take over the readibility?
- thompson0
have you tried designing a better logo?
heh. sorry. too tempting. is that an LG or a UG.
- tny0
tis a bit thin, but i like it; think it works

i can either put this into a tshirt or as a testimonial on my splash page!

I dig it - I really like the icon, especially when their is no line around the letters but the negative space creates them.

i still wana clarify what "too stylised" means, as a few of you mentioned.
i forgot to mention the circle one is a business card, so its a elaboration of the logo, but not the logo itself.
if anyone cares.
