depends if your cliënt is gonna print it himself on his shitty black/white printer in black on your stationary. but professionally speaking it should be there....

I'm not even sure if they would go for a letterhead without address... I guess i was thinking about design over functionality.
humm ok.. must add one
- dippy0
here's why:
letterheads are for communication by snail mail, so it is natural to assume that at some point, people will contact you by snail mail. It's getting rarer, but it's still essential.
Secondly, the address is also a psychological advantage -- it proves that you have a valid place of business, and it also helps people locate your premises should they ever want to visit in person.

Yes, especailly if they might be going to large business. Where the people reading them might not open the envelope. They'd need the address so they can write back.
There's thousands of reasons why yes.
Not so many to leave it off.

'cheers' is perfect. it says, 'hats off to you my fine internet friend, you're alright in my book,' but does so using only half a dozen keystrokes.

Legal too... If the company needs to put a policy into effect; guess where its put. Letterhead; This means that the company needs to identify who it is and where it’s located. Letterhead has function before it has form. Designers need to execute this flawlessly .
You know, Design is about form and function, this doesn't mean you have the choice to make anything you the designer wants. .. You have to play within the requirements of the job. You are Hired Help. Not an Artist... but then again, what the hell do I know..

clunk is awesome

plashal,
totally agree with your comments. I think I was having a brain lapse. Maybe I was thinkign my design was too damn good for and address, but I fit it in and it works quite nicely.
