good or bad, myself i think its important to tell them to shut up and listen to the experts. if you take your car to the garage do you tell the mechanic how to do his job, id hope not.

I'd maybe not tell them to shut up....

i make all presentations with a stun gun in my hand.

your comparison is shite.
- 310k0
ok that might be a bit much, but come on some of them just dont know what they are on about. and all of a sudden they become top notch designers , i dont think so
- 310k0
got a better comparison james for future use?

Hairdresser. You kind of have ultimate say about what you want when you sit in the chair, but you leave most of the decisions down to the person cutting your hair as they are the person who know's what is achievable and can see the job from all angles.

argueing with clients is like running the Special Olympics..
ah nevermind..

Really liked your site by the way ( 310k )

The client is the person in the chair by the way, hairdresser the designer. I read that back and it sounded confusing

thanks we are up for redoing it some day.
maybe we will go for the special olympics instead

i start all my presentations with me dropping my pants and injecting steroids into my leg.
i then shudder for a moment as if feeling it surge through my body... pull my pants up and proceed.
i usually get what i want. if not hey... at least i'm on steroids.
haha. jk.

sounds like some kind of drug use is the best way through this dilemma or extreme intimidation
- todelete__20
sometimes i'll take my shirt off and do like 6 pushups. that usually gets them too.
or, i bring in the stunt midget and throw him out the window.

kOna, you should retire from NT more often. Sounds like you're pulling out all your pent-up humor all at once.

You have to get to the point where if/when you need to push back they respect it and value it and there's no point in arguing, if you don't already have their respect.

* standing with pants down, stereoid shot and stunt midget on hold *
...Great. Now you tell us.

designer = cab driver
client = passenger suggesting a route
