about ripping, i just got an e-mail request about one site i'm running:
"i mirrored your stuff on ...
if possible, send me a zip or tar.gz to setup a complete mirror."mwahahahahaha.... that's bold.

have you seen the competitors leaflet or are you going on the word of your client that its a rip?
I've had people kakking on to me about work i've done being ripped off, yet when i've seen it, it wasn't. "the same font at the top and its the EXACT same shape?!?!?! and look, they habe their website address at the bottom too!"

Go tell them that they should be more careful about who they're hiring (of course they ordered a competition's leaflet direct copy, but don't mention it, blame the designer/studio). And that they are actually lucky they copied you, somebody else might have taken them to court. Be nice, and leave them them your card. They will be surprised if you act this classy. They also will be left with a feeling that that they owe you. Next time they'll hire you.
