Anchored Divs in CSS?

  Problem: each project is technically a separate page via PHP... so the list of projects (which is a scrolling div) reloads everytime you select a new one, taking you back to the top, and forcing you to scroll again. This is beyond annoying.

  Question: is there any way to make a div stick where you've scrolled to if the page is reloading? Can you anchor that one div?

  I'd love it if there's an HTML/CSS solution for this instead of using a flash scrolling system or an iFrame.
