Simple question

  If I'm preloading an external swf into an empty mc do I have to use the _lockroot so that the script works? Or do I preload from the "main" swf? Having tried yet just being lazy and trying to do it painlessly.

  you just can load it. should work. the only thing you have to keep an eye on is calling the functions right.
