What's it like to be arrested?

I want to know what to expect when I get arrested in London for something like, say, drugs before I go. I'm from the US and don't know how it's differrnt from us over here.

I plan on getting incarserated too. How can I get a hold of episodes of "The Bill" in the states? Will I arouse the department of homeland security's suspicion by asking this? Did I leave the coffee pot on?

The bill is like a trashy daily cop show ini the UK.
Apparently it is more popular in Australia than in the UK. Used to be good like 10 years ago.
They always say "you're nicked" when they arrest you.

They make you feel like crap and treat you like you've just killed their parents. Police cells aren't exactly 4 star and their tea tastes worse than McDonalds. So I hear.

Police here are nice and very pleasant. Unless ur drunk when arrested - then they're kinda rough wit ya.
I wasn't even handcuffed. Though i was warned if i tried to run i'd get pepper sprayed. Still u have ur rights, and the cops do their job, lock u up for a bit until they decide whether to charge u or not. Then they let u off with a caution and tell u "ur a very lucky boy". Cos u know, they can't be fucked with the paperwork. Especially with some kid caught with a few pills.

They use unneccessary force, beat you with their baton and generally over react to anything everything you do- I mean, jumping through a shop window drunk, is hardly that bad
