does anyone know wich program?

id say that was created in a 3d package then each frame printed out then each one traced with biro pen and then put back together in AE.
Unless theres now a 'biro-render' plug-in that i'm unaware of.
Very well done anyway.

maybe some biro animated texture on a shadow level of the image?
I dont think someone printed and traced 50.000 single frames and then scanned it..

one of the Wacoms where you draw directly on a screen could rule out the printing and scanning, so why not?
