Who they got designing that shit - mr fucking magoo?
lets see how many links we can fit on the page guys!

the logo needs to be bigger

sadly it's not the designers fault. if there's way too many links on the home page, it's almost always the client who wanted it that way

regardless gavin - there is simply no excuse for design of that poor a standard these days.
It breaks every usabiility rule in the book..I mean I got a fuckign headache just looking at the bloody thing....shit like this takes teh web BACK 2 years....
- abstrakt0
hey, he was bitching about the number of links :)
seeing a corporate site with a beautiful design is something of a rarity these days
- jevad0
it shoudn't be
- jevad0

I would assume it is following the "high bandwidth or get lost" trend..

must have been a sale on those templates.
Today sites like these try to set things up like a frontpage.. sort of how "At Home" use to be or Earthlink, Yahoo, or whatever... a one stop spot for everything...

I like the NBA AOL better- except for the colors...
- jevad0

damn Don... that hurt... it looked like a site for basketball in vienam 1978

its all contnt managed so liek 50 diff ppl are adding to diff sections and i highly doubt any of them look the the index page after they update the links
- swollenelbow0
yeah jevad, don't you know that people require at least 50 links on a home page these days...
"put this here, and here, no, i want it in two spots, no wait, put it here too, alright now, let's link this section to here, and have this link take you back, but wait, but a back on top and the bottom, and ...."
you get my drift.

that site broke my eyes.
I miss MJ

I agree, but Amercan sports fans are "data driven" so they're probably not bothered.

it's almost identical to the espn site except this one is worse, by far.
