Yes I have used the
same effects on some other websites.BUT - I have coded everything from scratch myself. Fully using AS2.0 and an OOP class-based approach. I
have been programming in AS2 since its inception and have been a flash developer for over 3 years.I can send you code samples of this site if you like - or you can ASV the site (http://www.buraks.com/asv/) and see the difference for yourself. I take pride in my code, and I dont like the fact its been suggested as stolen - especially directly to a client of mine (!)
Yes - code is copyrighted - but there is no copyright on the way something moves or the visible effects in a transistion.
What I have seen on the web is some nice effects, and I have tried my best to recreate them in my own way for use in this site. Im sure other people do the same.
May I also point out - that both the yugop.net effect and the
group94 'typo-effects' are used on a very large number of sites - in fact the yugop.net effect is available as a free downloaded extension component for flash mx. (http://laco.wz.cz/tween/?page=e... -The fact of the matter is - I didnt even use this free extension - I have my own TextJumble.as class that can do it - and much more.
Just wanted to set the record straight - i don't steal code !

ummm...a thought: who cares who wrote the code? its what you do with it creatively.
an exact replica of kurtnoble from scratch is a lot less impressive to me than an original portfolio built from bits and pieces.
At least in the Flash world, I know a lot of us are using easing equation scripts. We all know where ultrashock, kirupa and flashkit are. And layer51's prototypes too.
This "he said she said" BS about who programmed what is a lot like looking at a painter and calling him a fraud cause he didn't make his own oils or stretch his own canvas.

I haven't even looked at your site yet, but if you truly did all that you say you did from the ground up, then big ups to you. My coding knowledge is extremely limited, so it's pretty impressive to me when people do that shit. Don't sweat it. I understand defending yourself, but let him believe what he wants now.
