SSH access QUestion

  What can you do with SSH access? Is it like really important?

  I am a reseller and my hosting company denying this service to my clients, will it affect me in the future?

  really important for us...for security, we dont run FTP on our server, but use SFTP over SSH instead to upload content.

  It's fairly uncommon for shared hosting I think...We're on a deicated/unmanaged server.
