i like magicpatch's suggestion.. opening up those letters makes it look bettah i thinks.
also, you might want to try and use a rounded ® like Helvetica or something... give it a bit of contrast.

Agree with Nick...Make the (R) Arial or Helvetica...Other than that the logo's hot...Did you customly make that font set?
