I'm trying to find software that will let me control my Sony CyberShot DSC-P5 camera from my Mac.
Something to override the USB transfer mode and let me capture pics. Like timelapse controlled by my comp.Thankyou.

Yes.
Canon give software with their cams that you can use to control it and I wanted to know if there was an equivalent for Sony on Mac

Applications > Image Capture has settings for sharing a digital camera over a network... no timer settings though..I think...
Theres sure to be some shareware webcam software that will support this, shouldnt have to be Sony specific...

i had one and it was a pain so i dumped it for an olympus dont get me wrong it took wonderful snapshots but the mpg video was lacking and to focus controls
