To EPS or AI?

I work on IDCS at work and I know that it can take pretty much all adobe formats to be placed such as psd or ai files. Anyway, question is, what would would you do, leave all the company logos in AI format or EPS format? EPS format makes it accessable for OTHER people, but AI files work better in IDCS.
Save company logos (and other artwork) as AI or EPS files?

one problem is that I cannot place drop shadows correctly in IDCS with EPS files. It creates a drop shadow for the entire box, not just the shape of my EPS object. Try it and see.

I can do both, but I want to create less files. But if thats the best advice, then I guess I'll do both. argh (more work for me)

well then you answer is ai files.
don't wanna loose them drop shadows!

I dont know why the dropshadows don't apply right with imported EPS files. Maybe it works, but I dont know how to make it work. Can anyone help me?

ahh screw it...just converted all of the corporate logos to ai. OTHER peeps can open ai in pshop too anyway. If not...screw em. Thanks for your help.
