Freelance advice UK!

Hi guys! Started a new job in November last year and it hasn't really gone to plan, basically I am doing 90% artwork when I thought it would be more design (web and Print)... Anyway, thinking about Freelance??? What is the situation like in the UK at the moment, especially the Bristol (S West) area???
Any advice / oppinions would be appreciated...

I'm based in Wolverhampton in a building with quite a few freelancers in.
I am seeing huge amounts of work lying around.
From my experience, those with the boldness, enthusiasm and experience do really well. If you've got all three you should do fine.
