CSS 100% height

Hey-o!
I just put some shitty shit up to test out CSS divs. How do I make my main div (.container) stretch to the bottom of any browswer window (100%) ??

I know. I took out all height specs because I had tried setting everything to %100 and it did nay work.
What shall I do?

}in yer mark up put< div id="furstDiv" > inside the holder DIV, ken?

but for #furstDiv it refuses to actually be %100 height

cheat - make your background tiling image include the whitespace on the left - that way it'll go to the bottom of the page...

try it again--i've uploaded.
1) the content div must stretch in such a way as to put the footer smack dab on the bottom of the page
2) Safari still won't do the 100% height

Ye've goat bigger problems than safari pal.
IE on XP isnae centerin' yer white bit, ken?? looks bouff.
Safari's like 5% IE is 55%
