how much support do you give to older broswers for coporate websites. i am of course speaking of IE 5.0 / 5.5
building a site, which uses some css, not full, but alot. #1 problem is the background does not really load in ie 5.0/5.5. (sometimes it loads, but in blocks, its really fucked up).... just wondeirng if i should go back and table it all or leave it alone.
2 - 2.5% of the years visitors use those browsers.

HAHAHAHAHA!my company used to support NN from 4.06 and up.
we then dropped entire support for NN. we only support IE (5 and up).

i've seen that problem, but not on IE5.5..happens only on W98/IE5. weird.

no. firefox complies with the majority of W3C standards. IE does not.
Never had any problem with CSS/XHTML rendering properly with FF.
Tired of including extra code just for IE's sake. Code would look like shit and be twice the original size.
