Damn! could it possibly rain any more in Southern California. We are about to go under water.

Cali should save all the water for nevada and the desert areas.

oh yeah, rain boo hoo, oh me oh my.
at least you don't have a $500 gas bill every month for three months in the winter.
- dbloc0
I'd rather have the gas bill.

how bad is it?

been raining for a week straight. Everything is flooded. Mudslides are swallowing houses.
- pocho0
potholes, massive sinkholes, mutli-million dollars homes sliding down hillsides (two more last night) and flooding.
A poor 16 year old girl was killed when boulder crashed into her bedroom this weekend...she lives about 6 miles away. It's about as bad as SoCal gets.

I feel bad for the 16 year old girl. As for thos houses built on the sides of hills and canyons where they KNOW it's gonna slide every year, well, they know better. It's like out here in Vegas. Been raining quite a bit here this last week as well. But when it get's crazy we have mad flash flooding because the dry ass ground can only absorb so much water; after while it just floods, and every time you hear about like 3 or 4 people dying because they try to drive their cars through intersections with 4 feet of water. The start of their miserable ending right there...

I bet my wife would pay $500 to fix my gas problem. ~ 0

we are about to break a record:
A total of 31.40 inches of rain has fallen since July 1, the start of the region's annual "water year" measuring period, the fifth wettest on record. The record is 38.18 inches, set in 1883-84.

Just when I thought all the snow was melting away in socal, bam! mo pow! But yeah, rain sucks. The commute sucks. The lake on the 101 fwy, thats crazy!
Then in 2-3 months from now, we'll be having fire seasons. Yay! I love cali! seriously.
- jimeeboy510
more than 8ft of snow reported at mt. high. holy macaroni!
- MIJA0
At least it provides us w/ great snowfall. SoCal hasn't gotten dumped on like this in years. 99 inches in 7 days!!

mulholland is frickin' scary in this weather...
drove by a part yesterday where almost the entire right lane literally fell off of the cliff.
plus the fact that people do 75 around the hairpin turns...
- jimeeboy510
Thats a crazy drive around there. Watch out for mud and rock slides yall

i guess if you live in socal you sorta have to expect floods, fires, landslides, earthquakes. must be a bummer, eh?
