anyone know what the deal is on submitting illustrations to stock libraries for sale/license?
yes I am contacting them direct but would be good to know any info/stories.

ones like this pay you .20 on each submission..they make a 1.80 each I think...

i don't know about illos, but a friend of mine has some images on a bunch of their stock photo CDs and makes good money off of it. about 2 years ago he was making somewhere around $25 for every image on each CD sold, but dont quote me on that. i know he made a few grand for the quarter (they pay you quarterly), and had something like 8 or 12 images across a few different CDs that sold a few hundred copies each. i know thats not exactly what you were looking for, but maybe it will help.

yes, please, if you do find out, i'd be very curious to hear how much $$$ you get.
my company is trying to get an illustration bank started, and i think they're insane for the prices they're thinking of asking.
