Obviously if you hate bush because you dont like the way he talks, you arent very up to speed with the current happenings in the world. Bush & Co., are commiting war crimes every day, destroying cities, killing innnocent men women and children, torturing innocent people...the list goes on.
How can you sit there and watch Bush lie, and then let his lies destroy the lives of so many innocent people.
Mark my words, Bush will go down in the history books like Hitler did. The german people ignored Hitlers evil plans, just as most americans (and others) do today.

Most people in the arts care about people other than themselves, and dont like seeing people oppressed.
It shouldnt be "trendy" to care about other people...you should care by default.

Designers (and creative people and intellectuals and academics in general) lean left. It's a fact and has been for quite some time.
I think this is because people who create (or think) for a living in general are more open minded and forward thinking. Not always the case, but in general. This just meshes more naturally with liberal poilitcs than with conservative politics.
Not to say that conservatives can't be creative, open minded folks... Just that in general conservative=the status quo...
As for Bush... he's an extreme example of this. Very little intellectual curiousity... and seems to see things as black & white.
