What software do you guys use for media management (image libraries etc).
Predominantly Mac, but a few guys use PeeCee's so a cross platform would be useful although not essential...
Fanks.

I don't at the moment but the company is getting to a stage where we have so f*cking many images in lots of formats (eps, jpg, tif, gif, etc) that we need something like this too.
Anyone actually got a bespoke one?

NXN alienbrain.
It's pretty good, especially the version control.

iView media pro. Handles about any format, and is great for handling large amounts etc. etc.
Really great app.

iView Media Pro is great, I use it for all photos, clips etc. I think I misunderstood your question though.
If you want something to keep assets managed on your hard disk then something like media pro is great. If you are talking a network asset management programe then I would reccomend alien brain. It's really well integrated with photoshop, ae, max etc, the version control across networks is so useful and has changed the way I work.
I know there are other programs like this out there too, but if this one is good enough for Pixar...
