i actually went home and thought it was a strain. my friends got me high after the accident and i cooled off in a friends pool. (this happened in october) hehe
i drove myself to the ER at like 6am later that night, got xrays and my pills and crutches. they wouldnt release me till i called someone. so i pretended to call my roomates. then drove my standard pickup all juiced up to the house!ah man, the vicodin turned me into an asshole. those pills make you all pms'd out if you take em all the time. my roomates wanted to kill me

yeah, i've been operating on no acl for about 3 years now... i wear a brace anytime i do any snowboarding which helps a lot but its only a matter of time till it pops again and then its time to go under... had a few close calls but nothing major.

i got a couple cti braces out of the deal. i hear there is a danger of fucking up your hip if you twist a leg with a brace on
talking about going under, i remember the anethesiologist snapping shit into my IV and saying "it's happy hour"

i played QB in high school. one game i got fucking labelled by this LB. i was knocked out for like a few seconds, but regained consciousness. i went back into the game the next play and played the rest of the game. the next morning i woke up puking all over the place constantly. i went to school on monday, was fine. went to practice and everytime i got tackled, i'd get up and puke. so my coach told me to go to the hospital that night. i go, turns out i had a level three concussion and since i didnt do anything when it happened, it developed into a brain contusion. it was that day i decided that i was going to go to the hospital as soon as i feel the slightest bit of pain.

Everyone! wear a helmet! I was skiing just last week and took a pretty bad fall and got a concussion... If i had been wearing a helmet then I wouldn't be facing possibly not being able to drive for 3 months.. Safety over fashion..

I t-boned my femur on the edge of a icy kicker from 15 feet up and snapped it clean two years ago. kept it together long enough to get my leg into a position that was cool and check down my pants to see if I was bleeding. No blood so I just relaxed and waited for ski patrol knowing that I'd get some meds soon enough..they couldn't find my vein so I had to grin and bare it for 45 minutes till the ambulance arrived.
Now I rock a titanium rod and two screws....aight.
