If he's only 18... that's very impressive. I've found that skills like typography are mostly learned over time anyway...
Hope he's not used by people who like the "over the top" aesthetic so he begins to believe that's what good design is.
Great sense of motion graphic design... Unreal skills for an 18 year old. Just lacking what you might expect from an 18 year old... subtlety.
No hating here... the dude has skills. Just not artful enough to make me think "prodigy".

the garageband loops were a little too much but it worked in many ways.
overall it was fine.
