interview question

I was contacted today by a local employer that would like to interview me to possibly fill an opening in their company, one that i'm over-qualified for.
my general rule is that if someone contacts me to offer an interview, i always go.
i current work a job i really like, but that is 60 miles from where i live. in that area i'm pretty well established, but have a limited number of clients in the city i live.
is it a waste of my and the offering company's time to meet with them regarding a job i most certainly won't accept, or is it a case of having another opportunity to showcase work and skills and you never know what can happen?

I say go anyway, those are the best interviews cuz you don't care if you get it. Who knows the company might have more $$ than they know what to do with and offer it to you, for doing very little work.
Love your site btw

you said "i most certainly won't accept", so don't wast your time.
60 miles a long distance, but it's important to have a job you like.

I would say don;t waste your, or their time, if you have no intention of accepting any offer they would make...
