Someone was telling me that there was a law passed saying that cell phone companies have to allow you to switch your number to another company with no hassle.
Is that true?
Has anyone had to deal with this before?

Yeah, you can change companies and bring your phone with you, but if you terminate your contract early you still have to pay the early cancellation fee.
