anyone know of a command or a way to straighten lines? I usually do it manually, but sometimes the lines of an object just wo't straighten to a guide. Any input will be appreciated.

could you use the simplify command?
- timg0
cmd-option J (average) will straighten them on a horiz or vert axis... then you can delete the extra points in between A & B.
or use the "snap to guide" feature.
