We need our new consulting website built in two stages and would like to find a designer on Newstoday.
The first part is merely a parked, single page. This page, however, should keep in mind that screen real estate will be need to insert navigation to a much bigger site in the future. The parked site should capture the intended look and feel of the whole site. For each page or the website, we need a designed layout, almost in template form, in order to plug in a web application. A non-tables site, with a comprehensive CSS file is imperative, timing is near ASAP with design ques to be taken from our current logo and style guide. Designer will have to keep in mind a web application needs to run in certain pages so writing garbage nested table shit is not allowed. 15-20 hr estimate for total work by dedicated, self-starter. Competent portfolio and references REQUIRED.
Startup company funded by two young executives. Not wealthy but willing to pay for good design done in a timely manner.

What this means is you will design the Parked single page that is almost a complete site..
then they will take the design and flush it out themselves and screw you over for the second real part.

Am I reading this incorrectly? How are they screwing people. They said they want someone to design a template within 15-20 hours.... quote them what its worth... $95 an hour get 20 hours worth of work.... screw the rest... let them handle it.... if they want to do the rest of it ....so be it.
