Has anyone had success with a work visa? Im currently in the US, and am wanting to relocate to Rome. I have heard that a work visa takes up to a year. But if a company hires me to work on design projects now, how will that work out.
Better yet, anyone know of a great resource? The embassy is very hush hush for some reason.
Thanks
R.

----------------I think you won't be able to work more than 3 months with no visa - with no social security, others benefits of beeing a US or other country citizen...

so if a company sponsors me to work, they have to wait up to two years for me to begin working? that doesnt seem right....

Kodap. Thanks for the info. You seem to know quite a bit. Can I e-mail you for a few questions?
