Customized design tactics

  I have been asked by a cliënt to customize a rubber dj bag, some ikea tables and a chair. It's a goodwill project.

  Because I am normally used to regular graphic design, I am looking for some resource about materials I can use which last.

  Because the furniture and bag will be used. Materials I am coping with is Wood (varnished with some kind of plastic coating), rubber, and cotton.

  who can help me out or has done this before?
