hello guys.a question.
if i made a object in 3D or illustrator and i bring it to ae can i do somethin like in in photoshop-layerstyle-stroke..to give a bold outline.
thanx you guys.

Yeah, go in to your effects and go to "Matte Tools," then chose "Matte Choker." You will have to do some tweaking, it has a lot more options than the photoshop stroke tool has. But it will give you the effect you are looking for.

Why would you want to take it into American Eagle?

what version do you use?

you could also make a copy of your layer and put it under the original layer. Use fill to get get it the solid color you want and then increase the size, or decrease the size of the original.

that would only work if it were a solid simple shape planet
imagine the number 8 with your theory, there is no inner edge then

i just started with ae but what if you chose an outer glow with no blur?
- theplanet0
maybe I dont understand your question. Are you outlining the alpha channel? In that case use stroke and in the settings select render over image.
