Hi all
Hugely general question – but who do you think are the best design companies/people working out of SF at the moment?
Cheers.

Thanks guys – much appreciated.
Do Future Farmers work in the city? I've only been in contact with Tree Axis before, but am trying to see who's doing good stuff out there...
Thanks.

hey sinclair, does this mean the editorial of CR keeps an eye on the PVN?
I did think I had seen a few familiar references in the mag in the past...
- sinclair0
hey soda
yeah, i'm on here most days – there's usually some postings that are worth checking out, and the PVN's always good for helping with topics that we'd like to know more about. some of the new stuff linked in the broadcast channels has definitely ended up in a few of CR's pages.

i figured as much, good to know we can have an influence!
As for the San Fran connection, most of the people I know have been sucked into working at large agencies like Landor, or big companies like HP or Apple etc but method are worth a look at.
Not the most people friendly company but good work.
Cuban Council are worth dropping a line for sure?
Odopod are doing some great stuff too.
I'll see if I can find out some more about Future farmers for you.

if youre going to hit up the cuban council start at kni less ego alot cooler normal people
- sinclair0
Thanks clone - will check them out online

Haha.. yeh, it's a great source and filled with generous types - like yourself - who are only too happy to help out and share some of their knowledge.
Thanks for the names - i thought it might be the case in SF, where people get swallowed up by the larger places. cuban council were definitely one i'd though about, with their k10k connections... but i wasnt aware of odopod, so i'll be sure to check them out too. Thanks again!
Are you a CR reader by the way?!i figured as much, good to know we can have an influence!

yeah I'm actually a subscriber!
It's a great mag. I've read it since I was at college but I do feel it's hit a real good patch at the moment? Not sure what it is but it seems to have a good balance again.
Let me know if you need anymore names and I'll try and hook you up.

hey, that's great - and really glad you like the way the mag is at the moment. funnily enough, we've actually made a fair few design changes for the next issue - it's to celebrate our 25th anniversary... pretty ambitious cover to go with it too!
