nah the navigation was cool.
- JamesEngage0
nice work...
we were going to do their site at one point
- gpop0
now would you have done it like that?
i was sitting on the train thinking about how navigation is ther to be played with but everything is seeming to go very 'safe' lately
- Blofeldt0
can someone post the URL PLEASE?
- save0
Annoying if you just want to flick through the work.
I'm very impatient with navigations like that!!
Nice work though

I'm not a fan of things flying round the screen on web sites but that was really good.
Makes the interaction more interesting, although it could get a bit tiresome after a few goes.
There has beena trend to step away from using fash and I get pissed off with images taking ages to fade in and out.
- gpop0
yep, i understand the waits etc..
but its a creative field and with the right show any wait can be enjoyable.
its the fine line
i admit, id like a rollover name on the work so i dont get lost and into the same project but otherwise it gets my 3 thumbs up
- clerk0
gpop, there are rollovers with work info.

N°7 = great
James, what was that site again you did for those (drum & bass ?) musicians ?
what sort of moved like http://www.kulsdom.com/sitemarliā¦
- JamesEngage0
stanton warriors
- stewart0
thats it.

The annoying navigation made me close it after 20 secs. The work looks good like.
- JamesEngage0
i thought it was cool, and like the pattern that is both nice to look at, and aids the naigation... top stuff

I really like it - agree with the points made above that waiting for transitions can be really annoying but I found that fast (and visually interesting ) enough to not grate.
- nRIK0
yea the navigation is nice, and i agree about how irritation slow transitions/image-loadings can be, especially when some sites use 12fps - bad!
what would be nice is if they speed up the transition for Saturday 200% - 300%. the effect would still be there, and access to the work is nice and quick
great site nonetheless
- JamesEngage0
I'm sure it is a mixture of both processor speed and a choice of pace by the them. although don't quote me!
- Dancer0
So do you know who did it then James?
I really like, have been waiting for their site for a while. Does anyone know if the pattern represents anything?
- JamesEngage0
poke ... they share the same offices... with mother too... soa natural choice
