Hello All,
I need a freelancer in San Francisco to assist me with the build-out of an upcoming web project (starting in the next 2-3 weeks). The role will probably be 70% programming + 30% design. Here are the desired qualifications:
- Advanced PHP experience
(esp. with Chat rooms & CMS)
- Flash expert (front & back end)
- Graphic design experience
- Experience with CSS layouts
- Very organized, able to
manage/track a complex project
independently
- Minimum of 5 years professional
experienceAny interested parties, please email your resume, portfolio links, & pay rate to me at
Unfortunately the development time prior to launch will be very tight (4 weeks), so let me know if you have a weekly or monthly rate as well...
Thanks in advance!

anyone with your qualification needs probably already has a job and/or sufficient clientel.
I know a guy who's in NY right now but lives in LA and will be back soon. he charges $175us/hr.
if youre still interested i can have him contact you. it wont matter that he doesn't live here. he'll get it done right. if you do need him to be here though he can stay in sf with me and work with you but i'm sure that will cost you more.

$175/hr?
where can I learn php?

go to school and read this book, the guy i am talking about wrote it.

you probably want the link for the book huh?

thanks

Thanks clone, but your guy is probably priced a wee bit high for me...
Maybe I am asking too much in terms of qualifications. The candidate should be more of a PHP programmer than a Flash/Design guy -- I just wanted them to have some design background since it won't be straight programming...

ask nick!

BTW, your guy's doing pretty well if he's making $175 an hour -- the rate for Art Directors in SF is around $60-80.
I guess PHP coders didn't get hit as hard after the Dot-com crash!
