fine, thank you, sir. My mom ended up getting out of the hospital after 2 weeks (a familiar story: perfectly healthy woman goes for routine diagnostic test, ends up risking death due to hospital care). Our friend Jessica is recuperating from a successful lung removal, though her underlying condition remains serious.

thats good to hear. I wish your mom the best of health. Its good to know that you can be close to famiyl and friends when they need you.
My grandma passed away last week. And another good family friend also passed away the week before...its surreal to be miles away and not feel anything.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's harder to grasp the permanence of death when you're far away and you haven't seen that person recently -- easy to feel like they're still out there somewhere.

i know..this is the second time this has happened first time was a coupel of yrs back when Grandpa passed away.
ITs funny i spent most of the week tryign to mourn and often feeling sad about the fact i was not able to feel any emotion.
anyways sorry to unload like that. i knew you were also going through a hard time.with you mum being sick and all....

sorry to hear about your loss. it's ok to not feel anything, when my granpa passed away i didn't feel really sad, and i felt bad for it. i think i was mostly just happy he wasn't in pain anymore (he had cancer and many other problems) there is no set way anyone is supposed to feel about death, how you feel is how you feel. :)
