Deaktivate Visited Rollover

  Question:
  I have a style sheet with text links and rollovers.
  Now one I go over the text link the rollover will show, but once i clicked on the link the visited style appears and the rollover doesn't work anymore.

  Does anyone have a script, trick or anything how I can just leave the "visited style" away?

  If I just don't give it a style in CSS it just uses the ugly purple which seems to be standard in the browsers
