I don't know wether to go to 2 Tribes or Good Vibrations here in Perth. Prodigy and Grandmaster Flash sounds pretty damn good, but so does Arrested Development. Don't know many of the other acts besides Scissor Sisters at GV.

2 tribes = Banging Techno & Electronica, great line up for it too
Good Vibes = Easy beats/house/electro/hiphop/break...
They'll both be great but I'd go for GV as 2 tribes will be full of munted kids

heads up on Bent & Mylo.
Bent rocks live! live band with uplifting dare i say 'pop'/house. keep an eye out for the multitalented drummer, he rocks.
the peaker of the night, the last song Always.Mylo, the electro/funk master. he's multitalented as well. great show live. just when i thought 'drop the pressure' was on its last legs, i've never seen a crowd go off to that song like that before.
5 thumbs up! definitely check them out tomorrow. i know i will

Yeah i'm not so much into 2 tribes type of music, although i hear gmf kicks ass live (as to be expected)
Retro, make sure yoy check out Handsome Boy Modelling School if you go to GV. Thats my main drawcard to the gig

Never been to the Belv. You're doing a good job of making it sound like a hole tho, heh.
I'll download a couple of tracks from HBMS to see what they're like. Maybe i've heard some of their stuff, dunno.

Thanks to the rain i've never seen so many pert nipples in my life. Respect to the bra-less sydney ladies.
Had a laugh, not as good as last year but its a weather dependent venue, cant belive the speakers had blown before Lu Conts set.. he was working his ass off but the sound was really bad, no bass.
Lyrics Born were tops!
Ben Watt was great, awsome sound in there and sweet tunes. Bugz were ordinary (didnt like the deva singer) The last hour in Heiniken tent was predictable.
all in all an ok day. Weather gods you wankers! Never seen so much mud and rain and nipples and thrash and nipples. Aussie women are hot!

The venue is actually really good, but concerts out there are always plagued by organisation and logistics problems.
Just not looking forward to dealing with them thats all.

Oh man I'm going on sunday here in Perth. Sux to hear HBMS suck live ... i was really looking forward to that :( At least you say Lyrics born puts on a good show.
In some ways i was kinda expecting that from HBMS but i kind of figured if they could be so creative and have it that much together on their cd's they wouldn't put on a bad show. Oh well.
Still they can't be as bad as badly drawn boy. He literally came on stage called the crouds "cunts" and proceeded to flick cigerettes into the croud. What a charmer!
