Who here thinks they have great organizational skills? I thought i did but now i am finding i need a lot of work in both personal(home, etc..) and professional(business) organizational skills. What are some of the tips or processes you adhere to to keep organized?

I tried things in the past...PDA, a paper organizer, Desktop eCalendar...I always revert to notes scratched hastily on paper and lots of worrying.

nothing beats a sketch book and a sharpie.. get one for every six months... put all ur ideas in it.. relfect ; scan and but on bookshelf.
tech is nice; but nothing beats a blank sheet a paper.

i have crazy stickies (the virtual kind)...color code by category and then sort alphabetically or chronologically (whichever is appropriate)...always sort things right away, only keep out your most recent project / paper / whatever...use a typographical hierarchy for your notes...
that's about all i do

I make lists, and carry a small sketch pad. Also have found this helpful: http://tadalists.com

contstantly writing lists, updating spread sheets, my fav still is a mini notebook, beats my blackberry or any digital device
