Yes, I am a PS filter hater like the next guy, but, are there any certain PS filters/plugins that can take an image and totally 'explode' the pixels, creating, what would look like 'particles'
i have been experimenting this weekend with brushes and such, got an alright effect, but not as detailed as i want it to be

i remember seeing this on the (Re)FusedBoard, but thats down now, and i cant view it. someone asked about it and achieved a similar effect
